Products

A product is a neeto application available to your workspace, such as NeetoCal or NeetoDesk. Each one is either enabled or disabled, and each exposes its own set of roles. For fields and response details, see the API reference.

List products

This command shows the neeto products your workspace can see, whether or not they are enabled, along with the role names available in each. Use this before creating a user, so the --app name:role pairs you pass are ones the workspace actually accepts, and use it to find the name to pass to enable or disable.

Combine a name with one of its roles to build an --app value, for example --app Desk:Agent. Names are matched without regard to case, so --app desk:agent works too. A disabled product cannot take role grants, so check enabled first, and roles is an empty list for a product that has not published any roles to the workspace yet. Disabled products are listed so you can find their names again, but products your workspace is not shown at all, such as ones still in private production, are left out. This command takes no flags of its own beyond the global flags.

Enable a product

This command turns a neeto product on for your workspace. Use this when the workspace needs a product it does not have yet, or to bring back one that was disabled.

--product takes a product name from neetoauth products list, matched without regard to case (Desk and desk both work). A bare positional argument (neetoauth products enable Desk) still works, so scripts written against 1.2.0 keep running, but passing both forms at once is an error.

With --json the CLI prints {"message":"Product \"Desk\" enabled."}, and with --quiet it prints success. Enabling a product needs permission to manage workspace settings, so a member without it gets a 403 error.

Disable a product

This command turns a neeto product off for your workspace. Use this when the workspace no longer uses a product.

A disabled product still appears in neetoauth products list with "enabled": false, so you can always find its name again to turn it back on. If the name does not match a product the workspace can see, the command fails with Product "Desk" not found. Run "neetoauth products list" to see available products.
